Podstock, the leading multi-platform analytics and management solution, today announced a new partnership with Ballen Studios to enhance measurement, monetization, and scalability of podcast inventory across channels. The company also confirmed a three-year extension of its contract with Dear Media, underscoring growing industry confidence in Podstock’s technology as networks seek unified insights across audio and video distribution.
“Podstock’s platform helps us unlock new revenue opportunities and streamline operations,” said Michael Bosstick, Founder and CEO of Dear Media. “Their technology empowers our teams to make data-driven decisions across audio, video, and social platforms. We’re excited to deepen our partnership and continue innovating together.”
These new partnerships come as podcast publishers continue to expand their reach beyond RSS and traditional downloads to leverage YouTube, connected TV, and social media to capture new audiences and advertising opportunities. According to a recent report by Metricool of the leading podcasts in the US, 87% maintain a YouTube presence and 82% leverage Instagram and short-form video clips to drive audience growth. Research by Edison proves that audiences are following content across these channels as 79% of weekly U.S. podcast listeners say they have consumed a video podcast.
“Podcasting is a multi-platform ecosystem. Publishers and networks need unified data and smarter infrastructure to compete,” said Michael Paretzky, Co-Founder and CEO of Podstock. “Our partnerships with Ballen Studios and Dear Media reflect a shared commitment to modernizing how podcast businesses operate by connecting the dots between content performance and monetization- wherever you get your podcasts.”
Podstock’s centralized platform enables media companies to simplify operations, consolidate performance data, and optimize revenue across every distribution channel.
With the addition of Ballen Studios and extended relationship with Dear Media, Podstock continues to expand its footprint among leading publishers and networks that are redefining the podcast business model. The company’s growing portfolio also includes Blue Wire, Locked On, and Wave Sports + Entertainment, among others.

Letter
I refused to listen to music as a kid. My stubbornness forced my parents to adapt, and our family car rides became audiobook adventures. From Harry Potter to Great Expectations, my brother and I would be so immersed in the stories that we'd want to stay in the car even after arriving at our destination. The moment we climbed back in, we'd launch into our original song: “Turn the Book on Please.” We wouldn’t stop singing until our parents hit play.
My stubbornness subsided over time, but my love for audio stories only grew deeper. When I discovered podcasts in 2014, I quickly became an avid listener, becoming absorbed in thrilling stories, hilarious conversations, and stimulating discussions. In 2019, I decided I had to work in the business of podcasting. I spent over a year applying to jobs, before accepting a role at Audacy / Cadence13 to build a new podcast analytics & strategy capability.
I had the privilege of learning from podcast industry pioneers, media moguls, and brilliant advertising executives. As importantly, I sat with the sellers, planners, campaign managers, talent strategists, marketers, ad technologists, finance team, and more. I felt the pain and inefficiency of working with technology that wasn't designed for the unique quirks of podcasting. I left to pursue my MBA at Stanford, but I couldn't shake the feeling that there had to be a better way.
My motivation for Podstock comes both from being an obsessive listener and from having lived the pain of trying to efficiently scale a podcast business. How do we let talented industry professionals spend more time on high value projects rather than doing tedious, manual work? How do we grow the podcast industry, and create more opportunities for amazing storytelling and engaging conversation? I’m excited to spend every day answering these questions.
Here’s to building a more inspired podcasting ecosystem that benefits creators, listeners, and industry professionals alike.
-Michael Paretzky, CEO and Co-Founder, Podstock
